John Fyfe & Son has been in business for over 45 years. We are a family-run business based near Bury St Edmunds, serving Suffolk, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire.  We pride ourselves on being accessible to our customers and are very happy to discuss any size of project and offer advice where needed, free of obligation.

The company was originally established in the farming industry in the Cambridgeshire fens, where a good understanding of drainage and soil management are essential. After taking the reins of the business, the current manager, Nigel Fyfe, moved the emphasis of the business more to the groundworks and construction side of things.

Starting in agriculture gave us a good grounding in all construction techniques:  from roadways and hard standing areas to farm buildings; as well as knowledge on woodland clearance, ponds and ditches. In more recent years, we have been involved in numerous housing projects, both new build, extensions and refurbishments, as well as all manner of landscaping including ponds and lakes.
